Delete your you2you account

You can delete your you2you account and its data yourself, at any time. Deleting cannot be undone.

In the app

1. Open you2you and go to Profile.
2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
3. Type delete and tap Delete my account.

Without the app

Open you2you on the web and sign in with the Google or Apple account you use for you2you. You land on the same Delete account screen. Signing in shows us the account is yours.

What is deleted

• Your personality profile, interviews, simulations, uploaded images and data exports
• The text we exchanged with our AI provider about you, and the text of your feedback
• Your name, email and settings

What is kept

• Your chat messages and survey answers, linked to an anonymous account, so other people’s conversations stay whole
• A keyed fingerprint of your email and your monthly AI usage, for 12 months, so usage limits still apply if you sign up again
• Records of what AI usage cost, without any text
• Safety records and our audit log, linked to the anonymous account

Backups and old copies of uploaded files disappear within 7 days, and server logs within 30 days. Our AI provider deletes the text it received from us within 30 days.
